Farali flour is a blend of different gluten free flours; Japanese millet, water chestnut (aka singoda) and sago. Farali refers to fasting. During some Indian festivals, only certain food is eaten while fasting. Most farali flours contain amaranth (rajgira), tapioca (sabudana) and little millet (sama) flours.
